Our Mission:
We are a group of citizens, cyclists and motorists working toward significantly increasing active transportation in the Grand Valley.
We seek to collaboratively engage public and private stakeholders through outreach, education and fun, in order to increase bicycle accessibility and connectivity, improve cycling infrastructure, advance bicycling and traffic safety, and encourage enforcement.

welcome to the GJCyclists blogspot
Now we have a place to use as a central repository for our Grand Junction, Colorado, recreational and commuting cycling information.
Ohh! My first blog experience! Thanks for putting this together, Jocelyn. Great News! President of Mesa State College, Timothy Foster, is seriously considering a Bike Share Program to reduce parking. As we are all familiar with, our college campus is outlined by high-traffic areas that deter bicyclists. I think the GJ Bicycling Task Force and the college should collaborate to ensure safe passage to and from campus.
